National Public Radio HQ

Summary

Location: Washington, DC

General Contractor: Balfour Beatty

Size: 330,000 Square Feet

Year Completed: 2012

Project Summary: JCM was proud to be selected as the Mechanical contractor for the National Public Radio (NPR) project. NPR had outgrown its 1970 Washington, D.C. radio broadcasting HQ and needed a new facility to accommodate its expansion. JCM performed the HVAC, Plumbing and Control work on the project which required a very sophisticated air-side system to accommodate the noise restrictions that came along with the design.
